This is a wonderful practice that we’ve worked with through several phases. The staff are professional, flexible and friendly and made the process easy for my daughter, who was initially anxious. Dr. Ellis and his crew helped her relax by talking about music, sports and fun family trips. Dr. Lindgren even talked us through an emergency bracket removal. This team is clearly dedicated to their patients.
Best decision I made for myself. As a Gen Xer who had braces as a teen, I saw my teeth shifting slightly as I got older and decided to do a consult just to see what they had to say. After only a year of Invisalign, I’m amazed how much my teeth changed in such a short time. I’m so glad I did it and my mom was so impressed she started as well and is loving it so far. I visited all the offices, and all the doctors are so personable and welcoming. Thank you for making my smile amazing!
I cannot say enough good things about this practice. I have two children who have been receiving orthodontic care at this office for the past two years and I have not had a single bad experience. They have always been pleasant and accommodating. My daughter has a missing adult tooth and her orthodontist (and the office) worked seamlessly with her dentist to come up with a plan of care. When it was time to have her braces removed they booked her appointments around her restoration work with the dentist so she could go to school with a beautiful smile. To say they went above and beyond to make that happen is an understatement. I have recommended this practice to everyone I know.
Both of my kids needed braces, and I did some research on orthodontics in the Northern Virginia area. I came across Dr. Ellis and Dr. Lindgren with fantastic reviews. I ended up taking my kids here and have not been disappointed. They are very professional yet personable at the same time. They also make the financing an easy process so that you can focus more on the work that would be needed for the kids and not worry about the money. Highly recommend. They also are located in 3 areas around the N. Virginia area for your convenience.
They are very nice people and doctors who care about making sure that you have the best braces experience. Getting braces for the second time, I was very stressed and worried about how it was going to go, but so far, they are making me feel very comfortable and relaxed with the whole process. Definitely recommend.

I highly recommend Dr. Ellis and Dr. Lindgren, especially for helping adults transform their smiles. The doctors and staff are great – friendly, caring and accommodating. They patiently worked with my overall anxiety about having orthodontic work and straightened my very crooked teeth with Invisalign. They made it so easy, and I am forever grateful that I can now smile without embarrassment!

Always a pleasure going into the Burke or Annandale offices. The staff is very professional, courteous, and informative. Drs. Ellis and Lindgren never failed to take the time to answer questions and explain a plan or a procedure. One of the best experiences I’ve had in over 40 years.

Finding an orthodontic practice that provides peace of mind and quality care is of great importance. Finding such a practice that is also willing to work with you and your insurance company is a huge plus; but finding a practice that does all of these things while always making you and your family feel like they are the only focus is a rarity. As a mother of three children who have all received amazing orthodontic care from Virginia Orthodontic Partners, I cannot recommend them enough. They are a hidden Northern Virginia gem!
Drs. Lindgren and Ellis have treated all of my children. We couldn’t be happier with the results! Beautiful smiles! Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Appointments are prompt. Both doctors have always been very attentive with any problems my children have had and have worked hard to correct them.
All the front desk workers greet and receive visitors with a smile! Check-in is a breeze. I have had two in braces and their smiles do tell the story of their care. All workers are unified as a team. One of my children is a special needs child and they have accommodated his each and every need. 5 stars indeed!
My daughter has always been given wonderful care here (both Burke and Annadale offices)! This morning truly touched me. In the chair next to my daughter was a small boy, maybe 8 years old and he was having a hard time. The staff was SO gentle with him!! I was overwhelmed with their patience, kindness, and understanding for him!! After brushing his teeth, he left with a smile! Who could ask for better care for kids!! An incredible office I would recommend to anyone!

Excellent orthodontist— staff and doctors are all caring, and gentle and they make the process of braces as fun for my daughter as possible. They also do free evaluations every about every 6 months to watch a child’s mouth and plan for the best time to start braces. You won’t pay a penny for any of these evaluations. They watched my daughter for 2 years before she ever started a treatment plan. Highly recommend them!

Dr. Ellis, thank you so much for the amazing experience of having braces. Yes, I just said that. After going to my neighborhood orthodontist in Lansdowne, I decided to give Dr. Ellis a visit. My Son used him years ago and he was fantastic then. My neighborhood ortho recommends braces on top and bottom for a ridiculous cost and many years. Dr. Ellis said he could do my adjustments just on the bottom, which is where I had a tooth pulled, and do it at a fair cost and be done in a little over a year. He then locked me in for Thursday appointments at the end of the day, since I’m in Burke every Thursday, and it’s a 45-minute drive from my house. His customer service is the absolute best. His staff is so professional and friendly and they made the year so pleasant. I hardly had any soreness at all and my teeth came out looking great. I cannot recommend Dr. Ellis and his staff enough. if you’re in the market for braces, you have to go see Dr. Ellis, he is simply the best!!!!
Dr. Lindgren has been great so far. We go to the Burke office. We’re about 3 months into the whole process and have been extremely pleased so far. They’re very good at dealing with children. My child is 11 and gets pretty anxious still at the dentist but so far has been fine at the orthodontist which I credit to the whole staff.

We love this practice. It’s been our first journey with braces for my 11-year-old son. We tend to go to the Lorton practice. From the moment we walk in, we are greeted with smiles and kindness. Dr. Ellis also remembers which sports teams my kids like and holds personal conversations with them about games! They love this.

Great Orthodontist office! Clean, professional and precise. As a dental assistant myself I’m very particular when it comes to who will treat my children and their dental needs. I highly recommend bringing your family here for their orthodontic needs.
They came highly recommended from several family friends, so I marched in my littles (with all their scraggly teeth) and one by one, their smiles are becoming gorgeous. The staff is friendly, fun, and really work with our schedules to make appts convenient. We usually go to the Annandale location, but occasionally go to Burke. Thanks for taking good care of us!
I love this practice! The staff is wonderful all around and are great at what they do. My kids always feel very comfortable going to the orthodontist—it is always a positive experience.
My older son had a situation where he lost a bottom front tooth and the team gave us a few options on how we could proceed to make sure there would be room for a permanent tooth to be placed when he was 18. They designed a special retainer for after he was done and worked with the dentist to make a semi-permanent bridge while we wait for him to get older. Not your typical orthodontic situation and Dr. Ellis and Lindgren were very thorough and professional. The office environment is casual and fun..there are always contests for the kids and parents. The staff is very professional and they did a great job of interacting and working with my boys. I would highly recommend Dr. Lindgren and Dr. Ellis to anyone looking for an orthodontist.
We absolutely love Dr. Ellis and Dr. Lindgren. They have treated all three of our daughters- each through multiple rounds of braces. The staff at Virginia Orthodontics are all professional, caring, attentive and have an incredible bedside manner. We wouldn’t trust anyone else with our daughters’ orthodontics and beautiful smiles.
It’s never too late to get the smile you want. My son needed ortho and after seeing his results I got my ortho treatment started. I can’t wait to see my results!!

Very clean, friendly and knowledgeable! They are professional and fast to service. But you get personal attention. They service three different areas, so works great with my Springfield job and kids Burke activities. I use them all and always leave with a smile. Love the game spirit they carry with them in all the offices. Convenient in so many ways. I recommend them over and over again.
I saw Dr. Ellis and he was the best! My teeth are in bad shape, but he never made me feel self-conscious or embarrassed. The staff there is awesome! Everyone is very friendly and it seems they go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. I’m recommending Virginia Ortho to everybody I know!
